Sending Packages

Hi All - I was just wondering what y'all were doing for timing of sending packages. I'm trying to decide if I should wait until the very last minute to send out my package so it arrives on the 1st or if others are already sending them. I noticed on Twisted Knitster's blog he received his, so if they are already starting to go, I don't want my pal to feel left out and the last one to get something! Will you let me know what your plans are?

Mine is going overseas from the US and I'll be sending it either Saturday or Monday. I let my pal know so she knows my timing.

I have a pal in the US, but mine is going out Saturday or Monday, too. The post office has not been my friend with some of my swap boxes, so I will be getting delivery confirmation, just to be on the safe side...

I need to amend my plans - a friend here at work told me she had a package take TWO weeks to clear customs! Holy Moly!! I'm getting mine in the mail tomorrow and sending a note to my pal to let her know! I'll probably need to get the second box in the mail on October 1!! (lol)

I was informed that this was just a teaser box and it was quite special. I'll post pics on my blog Wednesday and here too

If you have one of us Aussies you need to allow atleast 2 weeks for air mail and from the 28th Sept til the 2nd October we will not have any mail delivery due to the Labour Day long weekend and my camp weekend Yippeee.

Surface mail will take atleast 3 - 4 mths never the time frame they tell you.
